EDITORIAL SERVICES
I’m manager at Reveries Co., a company that strives to offer affordable and professional services to Indie publishers. My goal in the services I provide is to use my God-given gifts to help fellow writers strengthen their craft and build their confidence.
Writing is a craft, and just like a blacksmith would spend hours on a blade, writers must polish and strengthen their stories similarly. I want to help you hone your craft in the best ways that I can, without smothering the heart of your work.

MANUSCRIPT CRITIQUE
If you can’t afford an editor but would like a pro to read over your book before you share it with the world, I’ve got you covered! With a manuscript critique, I’ll read your book with the eyes of a reader and a writer. My critiques and thoughts will be written in a separate document. I’ll point out anything about the plot, characters, theme, or setting that stands out to me — the positives and negatives.
This does not include: grammar mistakes, sentence structure, or other prose-related issues.
Stories under 30,000 words: $50
Stories of 30,000 to 60,000 words: $70
Stories of 60,000 to 100,000 words: $80
Longer stories will cost more. Contact me for an estimate!
DEVELOPMENTAL EDIT
A developmental edit, also known as a content edit, will focus on the story at a structural level. I will point out plot, character, theme, and many other larger issues. If a character’s goal or a plot line gets astray, I’ll let you know to rope it back in!
$2.50 for every 1,000 words. Rounded to the nearest thousand.
LINE EDIT
A line edit will allow me to pick out info dumps, messy sentence structure, and any issues affecting with readability and style. I’ll also focus on smaller details, such as introducing a character’s concern earlier on in the story, or saving a detail for a later time.

FIRST TEN PAGES
As you know, the beginning of every story is what draws your reader in and makes them want more. With a first ten page edit, I will combine the line edit with a developmental edit: critiquing the strong and weak points of your story and suggesting how to strengthen those things.

BLURB WRITING
Blurbs can be tricky to write, and they are crucial keys to attract readers to even open your book. I can write a blurb from scratch for you, doing my best to build one that fits your book’s genre.
